about

Listen to the Hoge Brug Singing!

The bridge is an urban musical instrument, vibrating with unheard sounds, waiting to be played by passers-by. Amplifying the cables, railings and other parts of the bridge structure the Hog Brug will become an instrument played by the artists, audience and musicians through a mobile sound system set-up to hear the bridge as you walk across. Passers-by are invited to listen and play on the bridge, or hear the concert each day with invited musicians improvising to the live sound of the bridge. Offering a new experience of the everyday life in the city, with unexpected music and beauty singing through the cables.

An on-site sound installation by Jodi Rose & visiting friends. Bridge players featuring: Simon Berz, HarS, Emmanuel Rebus, Seamus O'Donnell, Feedback Society and more!!
