about

Singing Bridges: Vibrations/Variations CD released 2005
Field recordings from bridges around the world by Jodi Rose.

Variations by Kent McPherson, Karl Muller, Roger Mills, Gintas K, Dariusz Roberte, Robbie Rowlands, Steve Law, Audio Z, Ed Osborn, Matt Roesner, Jonas Olesen, Francisco Lopez, Jacques Soddell, Jacob Kirkegaard

Singing Bridges is an urban sonic sculpture, listening to the cables of bridges around the world as instruments in a musical symphony.
Echoing telecommunications wires circling the earth, the cables of suspension and stay-cabled bridges reverberate with sounds, each structure creating a unique texture, rhythm and sonic environment.
